Agreement
By accessing or using CV Yard ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of the Service
CV Yard is a resume management platform that lets you create, edit, version, export, and integrate resume data through our web application, REST API, and MCP server.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any API tokens you create.
- You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
Your content
You retain ownership of the resume content and other materials you submit to CV Yard. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service, including generating PDF exports and serving authorized API or MCP requests.
You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and that your content does not violate applicable law or infringe the rights of others.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, tokens, or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer or scrape the Service except as permitted by law
- Share API tokens in public repositories or with parties you do not trust
API and integrations
API and MCP access is provided subject to documented scopes and rate limits. You are responsible for all activity conducted with tokens issued to your account. We may suspend or revoke access that poses a security risk or violates these Terms.
Availability and changes
We strive to keep CV Yard available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CV Yard disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported resumes will meet any specific hiring or formatting requirement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CV Yard and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
